About Us
When I was a little girl, I was always fascinated by all the different colors and facets in gemstones. I even found beauty in the rocks I would find that looked like the same rock that Stone Mountain was made of. (You could see Stone Mountain from my house when I was little.) I would find rocks with combinations of quartz, feldspar, mica, garnet and tourmaline. Looking deeply into these rocks and gemstones I imagined fairies lived there. When I was little I thought fairies lived everywhere like the outer edges of mirrors and when we would get an ice storm, you would see stacks of ice in the red clay like palace walls.
So, when I started on my path with Reiki a few years ago, I was drawn again to natural gemstones and was reminded of how it felt to be connected again. I wanted to learn more about the healing properties of gemstones. Also at this time, my dreams became very vivid. I began dreaming about jewelry pieces and mentioned this to my youngest daughter, Vivian. Then Vivian had a dream about beautiful jewelry in an upscale store. When she looked at the tag, she saw the name, and that is how "Cin~So" was born.
I don't have any degrees in design, as I get my inspiration from nature. Nature never puts together ugly combinations, so you can never go wrong.
I thank Vivian for the "Cin~So" name, her graphic design and for taking all the countless pictures of the jewelry. A special "thank you" for my oldest daughter, Stefanie, for putting all this together and designing the website.
